We are a team of two passionate individuals aiming to give you a delightful experience in the things you love most!
OUR STORY
It all started three years ago when I had been eyeing cool plants that are aesthetically appealing. I needed greenery to liven up our newly-acquired home. As I kept on searching and reading, I learned that plants not only give vibrance to any space but most importantly, they purify the air from toxins and chemicals. From this point on, I started to collect indoor plants starting from succulents and cacti, being the easier plants for beginners- which progressed to philodendrons, scindapsus, tropical plants… and the collection just kept growing.
As my love for plants blossomed, I enrolled in Horticulture course to expand my knowledge and equip me to nurture these wondrous plants.
Also having the love language of giving gifts, I am always on the lookout for something unique to gift to people dear to me. Having this love language meant that I show my appreciation through gifts. As I leaned towards this passion, coupled with my new-found interest, I thought why not provide people with a unique gift? Mixed with a touch of creativity and an eye for style, I then started to create unique living gifts- all ready to give, so you can focus your time on things that matter to you.
Hence, the name ‘Living Gifts’.
When my Mom visited New Zealand, I sought her advice knowing her experience and knowledge with plants back home. Being a plant lover herself and having a nurturing heart, she reinforced my understanding of propagating and caring for plants.
You might think that one of us must be Lola. As much as Lola is a beautiful name, it actually means ‘Grandma’ in our native dialect.
Thus, the name ‘by Lola’ .
Living Gifts by Lola aims to give you something you love and something unique you can give to your loved ones.
A gift of nature… a gift that grows… a gift that lasts… a living gift that not only adds aesthetic appeal but has an environmental impact as well!
And that is our humble story.
